Curios about KYO? We’re extending an invitation to attend a NEW MUSOS INTRO SESSION – no obligation to join, just come and try us out within a small group with the support of a music teacher. You will have an opportunity to meet the orchestra and conductor to find out all about what we do, and whether you would like to join now or in the future.

Intro sessions currently being offered (pending musician interest): Flute, Cello, Violin/Viola, Clarinet, Saxophone, Horn/Brass. We may be able to organise sessions for other instruments too, so do let us know what you play (Double bass, Oboe, or Percussion anyone?).

Over the last 15 years we’ve learnt a lot about how to support young musicians in their musical development. We put a strong emphasis on encouraging members’ enjoyment of playing together, and fostering a warm, collaborative and inclusive relationship between conductor and musicians. And that’s the ‘secret sauce’ that produces KYO’s high levels of musicianship and brilliant performances.
